Job description

My client is a leading contractor in the Steel Frame and Groundworks sector. We are currently recruiting a Site Engineer for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing engineering activities, including setting out groundworks and steel frame packages.

Site Engineer Responsibilities

1. Reporting to and collaborating with the Project Manager and Foreman.
2. Setting up the site and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Completing all setting out related to groundworks and steel frame aspects.
4. Raising technical queries regarding design issues.

Site Engineer Requirements

1. CSCS card.
2. SMSTS or SSSTS – desirable but not essential.
3. Previous experience in setting out groundworks and drainage.
4. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, or time served.
