Job summary

A construction sector sub-contractor is seeking a Site Engineer for a 6-month contract in Abingdon. The role involves managing engineering tasks, including setting out ground works and handling RC frames. Applicants should have a relevant degree or substantial experience, a CSCS card, and preferably hold an SMSTS or SSSTS certification. This is a critical position that reports to the Project Manager and foreman, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience setting out RC frames and ground works is essential.
• CSCS card is required.
• SMSTS or SSSTS a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Project Manager and foreman.
• Complete AS built Surveys.

My client is a leading sub-contractor in the civils and construction sector. We are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to complete a 6 month contract. You will be required to manage the engineering, including the setting out of ground works and an RC frame

• Reporting and working with the Project Manager and foreman.
• Managing QA and complete AS built Surveys.
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety
• Completing all setting out associated to the RC frame and ground works
• Raising technical queries on design issues.
• CSCS card.
• SMSTS or SSSTS – Desirable, not essential.
• Previous experience setting out RC frames and ground works
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Time Served.
