Job summary

CTM Fabrications Limited, based in East Kilbride, seeks a Contracts Manager to lead day-to-day on-site operations. The role includes coordinating external labour, ensuring quality and safety, and liaising with clients and CTM directors. A pool car is available during working hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in contract management
• Knowledge of steel installation and site processes preferable
• Strong organisational skills - coordinating teams, solving problems, managing multiple projects
• Experience in reading construction drawings and working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel)
• Health & Safety awareness on site

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-start, site update and ad-hoc meetings as requested
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality, and safety compliance
• Identify and address issues by liaising with CTM Director and/or clients
• Carry out site measurements and survey for hazards with feedback/recommendations
• Ensure works on site follow drawings & specifications; perform regular quality checks
• Quickly identify and resolve on-site issues to protect timelines and quality
• Ensure RAMS are completed and sent to site prior to commencement
• Work closely with directors and external clients to ensure updated progress/plans
