We are looking for passionate individuals to join our amazing Mitie team that delivers the exceptional every day and offers a great place to work with many benefits. In this role, as Site Co‑ordinator, you will work within a warehouse environment as part of our cleaning and waste team. You will be responsible for both administrative tasks and cleaning duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all administrative processes related to Contracts, taking instruction from the Site Manager & Regional Account Manager as required and attending meetings and conference calls.
- Update internal and external databases and administration systems, accurately file paperwork (manually and electronically) in accordance with corporate standards.
- Manage reports and supporting contract documentation and assist in the preparation for client meetings.
- Provide flexible business support to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Perform general cleaning and tidying of all warehouse areas, including washrooms and canteens, using appropriate equipment, materials, and cleaning products and ensuring equipment is maintained in safe working order.
- React quickly to client call‑outs and comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies (training provided).
- Manage waste disposal.
Qualifications & Skills
- Administration experience essential.
- Knowledge of facilities management sectors desirable.
- Microsoft Office proficiency – must have good working knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible approach to working, with strong time‑keeping and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage own time, prioritise workload and plan effectively.
- Relationship building skills and a self‑starter attitude, with a willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to generate, develop and present ideas and suggestions for improvements.
- Discretion in dealing with confidential information.
- Customer‑care orientation – capable of delivering results and exceeding expectations.
- Well‑presented, professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Additional requirements: completion of a Basic Disclosure (DBS) check and a drug and alcohol screening test.
