Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an Operations and Projects Engineer in Blaenavon, South Wales. The role combines project engineering with production coordination and continuous improvement across design and manufacturing teams.

You will lead projects from concept through to delivery, coordinate resources, review technical documentation and support ISO 9001 quality requirements while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering projects from design through to manufacture and delivery.
• Background in project engineering, manufacturing or production engineering.
• Strong ability to coordinate production schedules, resources and project requirements.
• Clear understanding of engineering drawings, specifications and manufacturing processes.
• Awareness of ISO 9001 and continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering projects from initial design through manufacture, testing and final delivery.
• Monitor project schedules, resources, costs and delivery requirements.
• Work closely with design and production teams to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities across fabrication, welding, machining, fitting and assembly.
• Plan and monitor production, inspection and testing activities.
• Review drawings and technical documentation, provide engineering support.
• Coordinate materials, suppliers and resources for project delivery.
• Support quotations, tenders and cost estimates as needed.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and inspectors during project delivery.
