Job summary

Interlinx is seeking an experienced M&E Project Engineer to lead LV/MEP delivery on a major infrastructure project in the Southeast. The role is site-based, working Monday–Friday and reporting to the project management team.

You will oversee installation through to handover, coordinating with engineers, construction teams and commissioning staff. The ideal candidate will have strong LV/MEP experience on large-scale projects, reading electrical drawings and coordinating subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering or overseeing LV electrical and MEP works.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical submissions.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Strong communication and organisational skills for site delivery.
• Proactive, able to work independently within a project team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate MEP/LV installation works on site.
• Manage day-to-day engineering activities for MEP packages.
• Review drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors and specialist MEP contractors.
• Monitor progress against programme and address delays or issues.
• Ensure works meet approved drawings, specifications and standards.
• Support testing, inspection, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain records of site activities and documentation.
• Assist with method statements, ITPs and project docs.
