Job summary
An established higher education organisation is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Fire Manager to take charge of fire safety and health across a complex estate. The ideal candidate will provide expert advice, ensure compliance, and manage health and safety performance. Responsibilities include leading fire risk assessments and managing audits. A Level 6 health and safety qualification and experience in facilities management or construction projects are required. This position offers flexibility in a predominantly site-based role.
Qualifications
Extensive experience delivering health and safety services, audits and incident investigations.
Experience in facilities management or construction projects.
Working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations.
Responsibilities
Act as the competent person under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Lead fire risk assessments, DSEAR assessments and asbestos management arrangements.
Provide professional health and safety advice across facilities management and construction projects.
