Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd is helping a UK manufacturing client in Harwell, Oxfordshire fill a Health & Safety Manager position. The role leads Environmental, Health & Safety activities across the site and drives continuous improvement in EHS performance.

The ideal candidate will have NEBOSH qualifications, strong knowledge of UK legislation, and experience in manufacturing or engineering settings. Excellent communication and a proactive, hands-on approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as an EHS Manager, Health & Safety Manager or Senior H&S Advisor.
• Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience working within manufacturing, engineering or another industrial environment.
• NEBOSH trained or qualified (Diploma or Certificate) or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Environmental, Health & Safety activities across the UK manufacturing site.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation and corporate EHS standards.
• Develop and maintain a positive health & safety culture throughout the business.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Deliver EHS training and coaching across all levels of the organisation.
• Monitor and report on EHS performance, KPIs and compliance.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies where necessary.
• Support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
• Work closely with site leadership to drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
