Job summary

Orbit Workforce Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Banksman for long-term work in Dorchester on a busy construction site. You will safely guide and direct vehicles and plant, control movements and use clear hand signals.

Applicants must hold a valid Banksman ticket and CSCS card, with a full driving license desirable. On-site health and safety knowledge, references, and prior Banksman experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Banksman on construction sites.
• Valid Banksman ticket and CSCS card are required.
• Full driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely guide and direct vehicles and plant on site.
• Control vehicle movements and reversing operations.
• Use clear hand signals and communication with drivers.
• Keep pedestrians and site personnel safe.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
• Report hazards, incidents and unsafe conditions.
• Assist with general labouring duties when required.
