Site Assistant – 39 Hours per Week (Basildon Campuses)

The role is based within the Estates team and involves ensuring a safe, secure, and pleasant environment in the College's centres, with significant contact with students.

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment across Luckyn Lane, Stephenson Road, and Basildon Town Centre Campuses.
  • Provide porter duties with substantial manual handling.
  • Perform basic security tasks and general fabric maintenance duties.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff and visitors at all levels.
  • Work independently and take initiative to resolve issues promptly.

Previous experience in a similar or relevant role is beneficial. A current, valid driving licence is essential for movement between sites.
