Overview

We are working with aleading principal contractor delivering a diverse range of rail infrastructure projects for key clients including Network Rail and Transport for Wales. Their work spans across bridge reconstruction, station upgrades, tunnels, embankments, and footbridge schemes.

Due to secure several new frameworks and additional work streams, they are growing their team and require a Site Agent to join their South Wales business.

The successful individual will play a pivotal role in delivering a portfolio of new build footbridge schemes within South and Mid-Wales.

You will report to a Project Manager and be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Managing daily site operation, including safety-critical activities
  • Overseeing site safety culture and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations
  • Coordinating resource, plant, and material procurement
  • Ensuring work is executed in line with legislation, contract terms, and health and safety plans
  • Managing contract progress against programme and budget
  • Liaising with site teams, surveyors, and stakeholders to monitor and report on project progress
  • Identifying, managing, and implementing contract changes effectively
  • Producing formal progress reports for project and contract managers
Qualifications
