Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a major water treatment upgrade project in Oxford. This is a key role overseeing day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery across civil, mechanical, and process elements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site operations across a live water treatment facility.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, and materials to meet programme targets.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with H&S regulations, RAMS, and site procedures.
• Manage quality assurance, documentation, and reporting to the Project Manager.
• Oversee progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with the client, design teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate site records, ITPs, permits, and daily logs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Site Engineer on water / wastewater / infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering works, MEICA interfaces, and temporary works.
• Excellent knowledge of CDM, H&S legislation, and QA processes.
• CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid (or equivalent).
• Ability to drive productivity and maintain high standards on site.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
