The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to step into a Site Agent role as part of a growing project portfolio.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

  • Lead and manage the construction team to deliver works in compliance with all requirements.
  • Coordinate with project teams to achieve project goals.
  • Manage subcontractor packages, procurement, and commercial accounts.
  • Oversee contract compliance, health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Produce and manage project management plans, programmes, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor production targets, variances, and implement improvement plans.
  • Challenge designs and specifications to drive efficiency and savings.
  • Maintain project risk management processes and contribute to risk registers.
  • Promote high standards of quality, sustainability, and compliance.
  • Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
  • Maintain strong client, designer, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Contribute to project reporting, forecasting, and handover documentation.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing construction teams on complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of subcontractor management, procurement processes, and commercial account handling.
  • Ability to produce, maintain, and manage project management plans and programmes.
  • Competence in resource planning, workload management, and identifying training needs within a construction team.
  • Experience in monitoring production targets, identifying variances, and implementing improvement plans.
  • Familiarity with project risk management processes, including use of risk registers and software tools.
  • Detailed understanding of health, safety, environmental, sustainability, and quality compliance requirements.
  • CSCS Management card.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Temporary Works Coordinator qualification.
  • Lifting Appointed Person (Blue Card).
  • Confined Spaces Medium Risk training.
  • Experience with project management systems (e.g., Themis).
  • Strong collaborative working skills.

The setting for the role: You will be based on-site, working closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and client teams.

The role requires flexibility with working hours.
