Site Agent - Havant Thicket Reservoir

If you're looking for long term, interesting work close to home then Havant Thicket Reservoir could be the place for you. It is the first large-scale reservoir built in the UK since the 1980's and will protect some of rarest chalk streams in the country and provide a futureproof source of water to the region - estimated completion is 2029.

The Site Agent will join the main construction works overseeing different packages including the construction of a new control room, outlets and control systems, basins and wetland zones as well as supporting infrastructure including visitors' centre and ecological enhancements for the public.

The project has a collaborative approach to delivery in the Joint Venture with a culture that promotes progression, ownership and purpose.

Site Agent responsibilities
  • Writing risk assessments and method statements
  • Supporting the engineering team with long-term and short programmes
  • Working with the commercial team to manage change and EWN (NEC Contract)
  • Overall responsibility of health and safety
  • Managing design and quality of the project
  • Ensuring the project meets deadlines by managing the programme
