This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable coordinating site operations in remote coastal locations. You'll be at the heart of daily project delivery, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.

Role Overview

As Site Agent, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of marine construction sites, providing clear direction to teams, maintaining safe systems of work and ensuring high standards of workmanship. You'll work closely with the project team to support planning, problem-solving and progress reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate site activities on marine civil engineering projects
  • Manage site staff, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
  • Monitor progress, productivity, and resource requirements
  • Contribute to short-term programming and method planning
  • Maintain site records, reporting, and communication with the wider project team
  • Support risk assessments, permits and temporary works processes
  • Help maintain strong relationships with clients and local stakeholders
About You
  • Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Engineer on marine or coastal engineering projects — marine experience is essential
  • Strong understanding of marine working conditions, including tidal constraints and specialist plant
  • Confident leading teams and coordinating complex site operations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Willing to work for extended periods at remote locations across Scotland
  • Full UK driving licence
What You'll Receive
  • The opportunity to work on distinctive marine projects in remarkable settings
  • Continued professional development and career progression
  • Supportive working environment with strong technical teams

If you're an experienced marine professional who enjoys leading site operations and delivering high-quality work in unique locations, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
