BMSL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Civils Site Agent for a bridge refurbishment project in Bridgend, South Wales. This 12-month freelance contract offers daily rates of 300–350 and options for CIS or Ltd Company payment.

Immediate start available on a major civil engineering refurbishment scheme. The role focuses on safe, on-time delivery within budget and to quality standards, coordinating subcontractors and site teams while ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Agent on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong background delivering bridge works, refurbishment and highways.
• Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour on live sites.
• Understanding of temporary works and construction sequencing.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and engineering information.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• SMSTS.
• CSCS Card.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a major civil engineering and bridge refurbishment project in the Bridgend area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Agent with a strong background in civil engineering, infrastructure and structural works to secure a long-term contract on a high-profile scheme involving bridge refurbishment, remediation and associated construction activities.

The Role

As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the safe and successful delivery of site activities, ensuring works are completed on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day site operations.
• Coordinating subcontractors, site teams and suppliers.
• Planning and programming works to meet project deadlines.
• Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Overseeing site documentation, reporting and record keeping.

• Managing temporary works, permits and site logistics.

• Understanding of temporary works and construction sequencing.
