Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust in London is seeking a proactive Band 6 nurse to join the Pre-operative Assessment team at The Royal London Hospital. You will work within a forward‑thinking MDT to deliver holistic, patient‑centred care before surgery.

You will coordinate patient pathways, demonstrate clinical expertise, and use your initiative while collaborating with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and safety across elective procedures.

• Managing a caseload of elective surgical patients, assessing, planning and coordinating individualized care for patients undergoing elective surgical operations. Working with all MDT members to ensure care remains consistently high quality.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible, forward thinking band 6 nurse to join our friendly, progressive Pre-operative Assessment nursing team at The Royal London Hospital.

You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team, whilst utilising your clinical expertise to provide holistic, integrated patient centred care.

This is an excellent opportunity to consolidate and expand your existing skills. The ability to use your own initiative and to work as part of a team are essential.
