Job description
Overview

Join our team as a Junior Sister for an 11‑month secondment in the expanding Emergency Department at King George Hospital. You will work with Matrons and other senior staff members to drive the service forward.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, efficient, and high‑quality individualized care to clients across a wide range of specialties within the Emergency Department.
  • Deliver primary education, health advice, and promotion to ensure a safe, effective discharge that enables client self‑care.
  • Supervise and facilitate the education, training, and development needs of both trained and untrained staff and students.
  • Ensure all care is non‑discriminatory and non‑prejudicial, and is aligned with Trust and Local Unit Policies.
Qualifications
  • Hold or be working towards the A&E course or equivalent.
  • Be experienced in all aspects of emergency care.
