Single Point of Access Administrator Team Leader

As the SPOA Administration Team Leader, you will lead a team of administrators supporting a busy and essential point of access service. You will ensure effective daily operations, maintain excellent standards of communication, and support service users, their carers, and referrers with professionalism and care.

Main duties of the job
  • Lead and support the SPOA administrative team, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Act as a key contact for staff rotas, staff absences, and overall day-to-day service coverage.
  • Supervise and support staff development, including recruitment, induction, training, and appraisal processes.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
  • Maintain effective communication across stakeholders including service users, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Support administrative duties including minute-taking, rota production, and meeting coordination.
  • Monitor clinic capacity and appointment availability in coordination with the admin team.
  • Oversee procurement of office supplies and maintenance of essential equipment logs.
