Job summary

Bury Music Service is seeking a dedicated Singing Tutor to cover maternity leave. You will deliver high-quality singing tuition across schools and at the evening music centre, and lead whole-school assemblies and choirs.

We require driving licence, DBS check, and a commitment to developing pupils’ musical confidence and enjoyment. This is a part-time fixed-term role with holiday pay, SSP, and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• High levels of musicianship and vocal expertise.
• Ability to deliver engaging singing tuition to pupils of all ages and abilities.
• Capability to lead whole-school singing assemblies that inspire participation and development.
• Ability to establish and lead school choirs and vocal ensembles.
• Dedication to students' musical and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality singing tuition across schools and at the evening music centre.
• Lead whole-school singing assemblies and school choirs.
• Inspire a love of singing and help pupils develop confidence and musical skills.
• Travel between venues across Bury with a UK driving licence.
