Job summary

St Edmund’s College is seeking an experienced Singing Teacher with a specialization in musical theatre and popular music to join as a Visiting Music Teacher (VMT). The successful candidate will collaborate with the Director of Music and department to deliver high-quality teaching, prepare students for auditions, exams and concerts, and contribute to co-curricular life.

Approximately one day per week of teaching is expected, depending on pupil availability.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering excellence in teaching and preparing students for auditions, exams and concerts.
• Experience as a Visiting Music Teacher and ability to collaborate with the Director of Music.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Director of Music and departmental team.
• Assist in planning and management of concerts and other music events; work with co-curricular ensembles.
• Contribute to the lively co-curricular life of the College and safeguard students as required.
