Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is offering an 18-month Level 3 Apprenticeship in Simulation Based Education, mainly based in the Centre Simulation Suite at Wexham Park Hospital, Slough. The role combines communication, technical, IT and administrative skills with mentorship from the Learning and Simulation technologist.

You will support the Simulation Faculty and the service in the development, operation and review of simulation-based education; set up, maintain and troubleshoot equipment,

Qualifications

• Three GCSEs (C or above) required.
• Motivation to undertake the apprenticeship.
• Computer literacy with Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• To support the facilitation of simulation-based education
• To support faculty and service in the development, operation and review of simulation-based education
• To set up, maintain and troubleshoot the equipment, manikins, technology and models within the service
• To provide administrative support to the Directorate, service and faculty/facilitators to ensure that accurate records are recorded, kept up-to-date and available for audit, reports and verification
• To support the faculty/facilitators to ensure the smooth running of sessions/courses
• To ensure that the Trust’s values are upheld and adhered to at all times
• To engage with the identified learning, training and development required for the role.
