Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for an 18-24 month Level 3 Apprenticeship in Simulation Based Education, based at Wexham Park Hospital in Slough. The role combines learning with practical work in the Simulation Suite and across wards, under the mentorship of the Learning and Simulation technologist.

You will support the Simulation Faculty, assist with setup and maintenance of equipment, and contribute to education delivery and records management as part of the Education

Qualifications

Good basic education: 3 GCSEs Grade C or above
Strong communication and literacy skills
Computer literacy including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to work on own initiative and solve practical problems
Familiarity with simulation technologies would help

Responsibilities

To setup and maintain the simulation suite, teaching rooms and equipment for education and training sessions
To provide moulage, creation of props and modification of manikins and equipment to increase fidelity in simulation
To promote clear communication, verbal and written
To provide administrative support to the Directorate, service and faculty to maintain accurate records and reports
