Job summary

Ellis Group seeks an experienced Business Analyst with strong SimCorp Dimension expertise to support a change/implementation program within a buy-side or asset management environment in London.

The role focuses on gathering and validating requirements across front, middle and back offices, translating into functional specs, supporting configuration, testing and data migration, and driving workshops to secure sign-off.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension (configuration, workflows, or implementation projects).
• Strong background in investment management, asset management, or financial services business analysis.
• Experience with front-to-back office operations (trading, portfolio management, compliance, accounting, or performance).
• Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and validate business requirements across front, middle, and back office functions using SimCorp Dimension.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and SimCorp, translating requirements into functional specifications.
• Support configuration, testing (UAT), and validation of SimCorp Dimension modules (e.g., Accounting, Compliance, Performance, Investment Book of Record).
• Process maps

• Gap analyses
• Test scripts
• Support data migration, reconciliation, and integration activities related to SimCorp implementation or upgrade projects.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to drive requirement sign-off and issue resolution.
