Job summary

Signs Express Abingdon & Didcot is seeking an experienced Sign Maker & Installer to join our friendly production team in Didcot. The role focuses on applying graphics to substrates, fittings and installations, with opportunities to develop new skills.

We value at least 3 years of sign making experience, a driving licence, and a strong commitment to health and safety. The job offers a permanent, full-time schedule, with 8:00–16:30, Monday to Friday, in Oxfordshire, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience making and installing a wide range of signage.
• Experience using plotters, large format printers and laminators.
• Driving licence required.
• Excellent customer service skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly dynamic team at Signs Express (Abingdon & Didcot) as an experienced Sign Maker & Installer.

As a key member of the production department, you will thrive with the diversity of work our centre handles every day, giving you an ideal opportunity to develop new skills, make a difference and grow with the business.

Duties Will Include

• Applying graphics to a variety of substrates, including window graphics, panels, fascias digital wall coverings and vehicles.
• Carrying out installations using power tools and access equipment
• Interpreting briefs accurately with a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques
• Printing, cutting and laminating vinyl

About You

• A minimum of 3 years plus experience making and installing a wide range of signage.
• Experience using plotters, large format printers and laminators
• Driving licence
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Reliable, good time keeping and strong work ethic
• Sense of humour, professional, flexible, enthusiastic, be a good communicator, well organised and be able to work alone as well as part of a team
• A strong understanding of the importance of health & safety

Salary From £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
