Job summary

Harvey Nash Plc is seeking a hands-on SIEM Detection Engineer to design, build and enhance SIEM logging and monitoring capabilities. Role requires integrating data sources and developing detection logic across IT and SCADA/OT environments to meet regulatory requirements.

Strong hands-on SIEM engineering is essential, with LogRhythm expertise (or similar), Check Point knowledge, and an active SC clearance. The position is inside IR35 with a daily rate of £500-£700 and a duration of 6 months.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SIEM engineering experience designing and deploying logging/monitoring solutions.
• Experience onboarding and integrating diverse data sources into SIEM.
• Knowledge of SIEM logging, correlation and detection rules development.
• Active SC clearance is required.

• Inside of IR35
• Daily Rate - of £500 - £700 depending on experience
• Duration - 6 months

This is a hands on technical engineering role focused on the design, build and ongoing enhancement of SIEM logging and monitoring capabilities. You'll be responsible for integrating data sources, developing logging and detection logic, and ensuring security monitoring coverage across both IT and SCADA/OT environments to meet regulatory requirements.
