Professional Security is recruiting SIA-licensed Door Supervisors for Middlesbrough venues. You will be the face of safety, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment across bars, restaurants, and nightlife locations.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).
• Ability to pass BS7858 security screening.
• Previous experience in security, hospitality or customer-facing roles.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Calm, confident, and professional attitude.
• Strong teamwork and reliability.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and late-night shifts.
• Reliable transport to and from assigned venues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and approachable presence at venue entrances and throughout premises.
• Engage positively with customers while supporting venue staff.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct reflecting the Professional Security brand.
• Coordinate with venue management for smooth operations during busy periods.
• Identify potential issues early and prevent escalation.
• Enforce venue policies including age verification and dress codes.
• Manage incidents calmly and document when required.
• Support emergency procedures and assist with safe evacuations if needed.
