Job summary

Corps Security is seeking an Access Control Officer in Watford to ensure secure and smooth site access for visitors, clients and contractors. You will be the first point of contact, managing bookings and applying correct access levels, with duties across day and night shifts.

You will use C‑Cure 9000 and VM Easy, maintain alarm and access procedures, and escalate issues as needed. Strong IT skills and BS7858‑style vetting experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Front‑Line License – essential.
• Experience with access control software or systems.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Able to meet deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide access to site visitors, clients and contractors using C‑Cure 9000 and VM Easy.
• Maintain compliance with alarm responses, building access and production procedures.
• Report/escalate issues to Corps Security and on-site management.
• Produce clear, timely operational reports to required timeframes.
• Be fully conversant with site systems and procedures and support service improvements.
