Door Supervisor – Pubs & Nightclubs (Leamington Spa)

£14.00 per hour | Part-Time | Evening & Weekend Work

About the Role

KBG Security is expanding its presence in Leamington Spa and we’re looking for professional, licensed Door Supervisors to join our team. This role involves maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patrons and staff at busy nightlife venues, including pubs, bars, and nightclubs.

You’ll play a key role in controlling access, preventing incidents, and delivering excellent customer service while ensuring the safety of the venue and its guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Venue Security & Access Control
    • Monitor entrances and exits, ensuring only authorised individuals are granted access
    • Conduct ID checks in line with licensing laws
    • Perform searches where required, respectfully and in line with procedure
  • Crowd Management & Conflict Handling
    • Deter antisocial behaviour with a visible and professional presence
    • Manage intoxicated or disruptive individuals safely and lawfully
    • Respond to incidents using calm, effective communication and de‑escalation skills
  • Reporting & Compliance
    • Complete accurate incident reports and shift logs
    • Ensure compliance with venue rules, licensing laws, and company procedures
    • Monitor capacity limits and work with venue staff to manage flow and safety
  • Communication & Teamwork
    • Liaise with venue management, fellow guards, and emergency services as needed
    • Report concerns promptly and support smooth venue operations
  • Customer Service
    • Present a professional and friendly image at all times
    • Make patrons feel welcome while maintaining safety and order
Working Pattern

Primarily Friday and Saturday nights (8pm–4am). Additional shifts may be available during the week or for special events. Part‑time or casual hours depending on venue needs.

Essential Requirements
  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • Previous experience in a licensed venue (pubs, bars, or clubs) preferred
  • Strong communication and conflict management skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and well‑presented
  • Available for night and weekend shifts
Desirable
  • Valid First Aid certificate or willingness to complete training
  • Familiarity with CCTV or reporting procedures
  • Knowledge of local licensing laws (preferred but not essential)
