Shutdown Delivery Manager

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + 18% Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Contract: Permanent | Full-time (Monday - Friday, 39 hours/week)

An established manufacturing site with over six decades of operational excellence is seeking a Shutdown Delivery Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations during planned plant shutdowns.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected manufacturing business that prioritises safety, continuous improvement, and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain forward schedules and plans for all site shutdowns.
  • Coordinate with engineering authorities and subject matter experts to ensure all work is compliant with UK legislation and internal standards.
  • Build and manage shutdown work packages, including prioritisation, scheduling, permitting, execution, and handover.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Maintenance, Projects, Operations, Logistics) and external contractors to deliver shutdowns on time and safely.
  • Support the integration of CAPEX and non-shutdown project activities into planned outages.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and planners, ensuring resources are effectively allocated.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain production capability.
  • Drive performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives related to shutdown execution.
