Job summary

Stagecoach Cheltenham Depot is seeking a reliable Fueller Cleaner Shunter for the late shift to support 24-hour bus operations. You’ll fuel, clean and park buses and assist with garage and yard duties to prepare fleets for the next day.

• Carrying out basic site maintenance tasks as needed.

Salary £13.67 without PSV license / £15.58 with PSV license

Shift

Shift: Full time (39 hours), 5 over 7 days including weekend and bank holiday working. Late shift.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone reliable and self‑motivated to join the late team at Cheltenham Depot as a Bus Fueller Shunter Cleaner. The Engineering team is responsible for keeping our bus operation running smoothly, 24 hours a day, from vehicle servicing to fuelling and cleaning.

What will I be doing?

• Fuelling, cleaning and parking buses ready for the following day
• Deep cleaning buses, including chassis and steam cleaning
• Garage duties such as cleaning and sweeping our workshop and work bays, cleaning and painting wheels, and collecting bus parts from one of our other local depots
• Yard maintenance duties such as litter picking, weeding and painting
• Depending on your experience and abilities you could be asked to carry out further basic site maintenance tasks

What do you need to apply?

• You will hold a full current car driving license
• Right to Work in the UK
• A willingness to learn and be part of a small but crucial team
• Be able to work both as a team and independently when required
• Experience operating larger vehicles or equipment would be advantageous
