Qualifications

• Experience operating similar heavy plant and machinery.
• Class 1 HGV licence is highly desirable but training can be provided.
• Tugmaster licence is highly desirable but training can be provided.
• Desire to progress to operating other plant and equipment.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate Terberg Tugmasters and HGV Class 1 units.
• Deliver goods and material around the site.
• Support vessel discharge.
• Ensure loads are delivered to the right shed.
• Prepare materials for dispatch.
• Work Monday to Friday with opportunity for overtime.

£19.51 an hour dependant on shift

Responsibilities

• Operate Terberg Tugmasters and HGV Class 1 units
• Deliver goods and material around the site
• Support vessel discharge
• Ensure loads are delivered to the right shed
• Ensure materials are ready for dispatch
• Operate hand scanners to check correct material for loading
• Work Monday to Friday with opportunity for overtime

Qualifications

• Experience operating similar heavy plant and machinery
• Class 1 HGV licence (highly desirable but training can be provided)
• Tugmaster licence is highly desirable but training can be provided
• Experience transporting heavy industrial material (highly desirable)
• Health & Safety conscious at all times
• Desire to progress to operating other plant and equipment such as forklift, loading shovel, overhead gantry cranes, quayside cranes
• Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., shunter driver, tug driver, port driver, dumper driver, class 1 HGV driver, steel operative)
• Team player – essential for the smooth running of all operations
