B&Q West Norwood is looking for a part-time Showroom Project Coordinator to bring kitchen and bathroom projects to life. You will support showroom teams and installers, update customers by phone, email or face-to-face, and use design software to visualise options.
In this role you’ll help customers choose finance, products and installation solutions, maintain strong relationships with colleagues and on-site teams, and manage projects with a customer-focused, on-time approach.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering customer-focused service in a retail/showroom environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and installers.
- Ability to use design software to visualise customer projects.

Showroom Project Coordinator
Part Time - 20 hours per week
3 Month Fixed Term Contract
Competitive salary (£15.00 per hour with individual bonuses up to £250 per quarter for hitting targets, plus additional team incentives and a £3,000 award for the highest performing 3–5% of colleagues

You’ll support our showroom teams & installers with the help and advice needed to deliver a seamless and professional service for our customers. Whether it be via phone, email, or face to face, you’ll keep our customers up to date with their projects until completion. You’ll also use design software to really bring customer projects to life, by asking questions and exploring possibilities. Having the confidence to recommend the right finance, products, and installation options is also important in this role.
You’re great at using technology but more importantly you’ll have brilliant communication and relationship building skills as you’ll work closely with colleagues & installers to ensure we deliver the best service on every project. You’re motivated by targets and you’re a good problem-solver and project manager too, with a keen eye for design. And you’re flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

A day's work for me is coming into the store having a good plan. The team will be happy and ready to help our customers. I love having a busy shop floor, booking loads of customers in for their dream kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. I'm there to support my team if they need any help on the design system and on customer projects.
I work with a diverse range of people who all have their own quirks and that’s what I love. A really good day at work is being on shift with one of my closest colleagues or helping a lovely customer and making their day. That’s most days really!
