About the Role
KBB Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting a Showroom Manager on behalf of a highly successful and established business within the building materials and interiors sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with proven leadership skills and a passion for customer service, design, and sales. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy showroom, ensuring it delivers an exceptional customer experience while driving sales growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate the showroom team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding service.
- Ensure the showroom is presented to the highest standards at all times, reflecting the premium products and services on offer.
- Engage with both trade and retail customers, providing expert advice and design support to help bring their projects to life.
- Oversee the use of CAD design software to create inspiring kitchen and bathroom layouts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring product knowledge is up to date and stock levels are maintained.
- Take responsibility for the showroom's financial performance, analysing sales data and identifying growth opportunities.
- Drive local business development, proactively seeking new opportunities and leads.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a management role within a showroom, retail, or interiors environment (kitchens/bathrooms industry desirable).
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets in a competitive, customer-focused environment.
- Commercially astute with the ability to analyse performance and implement improvements.
- Confident user of CAD software (kitchen/bathroom design experience advantageous).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
- A proactive and hands-on approach, with a passion for design and interiors.
