Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Salary: £12.21 per hour

As a Showroom host you will be our customers first point of contact and are crucial in providing Lookers a world‑class experience. Here at Vauxhall, you will be reporting to the accomplished Dealership Accountant. Along with the extensive knowledge and support from Helen, you can look forward to on‑going training opportunities that provide you with the right career path and career progression within the Automotive industry.

Our reception team, or as we sometimes like to call them, Showroom Hosts, are passionate about delivering first class customer experiences and let their warm, friendly personality shine through during each customer interaction. Responsibilities
  • Being the first point of contact for our customers
  • Ensuring the dealership is kept tidy and presentable at all times, while making sure customers are taken care of
  • Contributing to a happy, positive working and team environment
  • Assisting with general administrative duties in the dealership with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Customer‑facing role with requirements to work over the phone and via email
  • Always maintain highest levels of professionalism
Qualifications

You will be someone who has pride in high standards to keep our showroom tidy and always welcoming. Excellent communication skills will be your strength and you will be able to demonstrate a successful blend of confidence and assertiveness when dealing with people. You will be warm, empathetic, and friendly and have an approachable and professional manner.

Having experience working in a similar role with the ability to deal with a variety of responsibilities along with strong organisational skills and an eye for detail is also important.
