B&Q Limited is seeking a Showroom Advisor on a part-time contract (15 hours per week) at Beckton. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service while guiding customers through design options, finance, products and installation choices.

You will produce inspirational designs and coordinate projects with colleagues and installers, including weekend work. In this position, you will engage with customers to turn ideas into purchases, working as part of a team and flexing hours to cover

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building to work with colleagues, installers and customers.
• Motivated by targets and able to convert designs into sales.
• Able to work as part of a team and solve problems with a good eye for design.
• Flexible to cover weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Overview

Showroom Advisor

Part Time - 15 hours per week

Permanent Contract

Shifts available Saturday and Sunday, 7.00am - 10.00pm

Competitive salary (£15.17 per hour / £26,945 FTE) with individual bonuses up to £250 per quarter for hitting targets, plus additional team incentives and a £3,000 award for the highest performing 3–5% of colleagues

What's the job?

Sales matter in this role, but your real focus will be the customer. You’ll ask questions and explore possibilities to recommend the right finance, products, and installation options. You’ll use software to produce inspirational designs that will bring customer projects to life. Coordinating multiple projects & supporting customers virtually and face to face, you’ll take our customers on a journey from inspirational ideas through to delivery, helping to make their dreams a reality.

What we need:

You’re great at using technology but more importantly you’ll have brilliant communication and relationship building skills as you’ll work closely with colleagues & installers to ensure we deliver the best service on every project. You’re motivated by targets, and are confident in converting your designs into sales. You work well as part of a team and you’re a good problem-solver too, with a keen eye for design. And you’re flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
