What You Would Get To Do

The Show Producer will consistently deliver exceptional service to our clients through excellent client insight, creative leadership, and focused show management. This position is an integral part of our Event Operations team and serves as the primary technical point of contact for complex events. Bridging the gap between the technical team and the event client, the Show Producer ensures seamless communication and execution of the client's vision throughout the entire event lifecycle, from pre-production through to onsite execution and post-production.

Please note: This role is focused purely on show, content, and technical production, and does not take on standard Event Management responsibilities

Your Contributions:
  • Work directly with event clients or their proxies to not only execute their vision for content and stage production but elevate it, taking full advantage of internal systems' creative and technical capabilities.
  • Shape and form the Run of Show (ROS) before coming onsite, taking the lead on ROS development and client experience.
  • Brief the technical team, Show Caller, Stage Manager, Experiential AV, and Engineering teams on what support will be needed based on the confirmed client vision.
  • Act as an extension of the event client, collaborating with Event Managers, Event Coordinators and Technical Directors.
  • Manage external agency workflows, leading Event Production Logistics Calls and conducting Show Handoffs to guide agency teams through all on-screen looks, transitions, PIPs, and video playback.
  • Identify operational or budgetary risks regarding the show, providing effective solutions to the event client in a timely manner.
  • Attend all experiential creative syncs and weekly/bi-weekly event syncs to gather insight on content creation.
Onsite Production & Execution:
  • Serve as the overall show lead and the primary point of contact (POC) for the client owning the content/show.
  • Maintain a core in-room presence throughout rehearsals and events, checking in with all technical leads to confirm readiness.
  • Remain on comms with the Show Caller and TD to communicate any updates or requests, whilst following the ROS to ensure it is executed precisely as desired by the client. Can act as a Show Caller based on event complexity.
  • Stay in physical proximity to the client or proxy responsible for the event's success, translating complex technical terms and processes into easily understandable language.
  • Utilise internal comms to communicate any needed changes or requests with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Escalate any incidents or service issues, regardless of department, to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Meet with the event client to debrief on the overall event lifecycle experience.
  • Hold a client post-mortem and create detailed notes and lessons learned to share with the wider EP team.
  • Enter comprehensive notes into the internal system relating to the client, pre-production process, and best practices for future events.
  • Confirm all content deliverables are sent in a timely manner.
  • Actively contribute to the conceptual, creative, and strategic development of future programmes.
What We Are Looking For
  • Exceptional ability to establish relationships and maintain a positive rapport with clients, client representatives, external agencies, and internal technical teams.
  • Advanced working knowledge of audio-visual systems as they relate to live events (including video playback, transitions, on-screen looks, and PIPs).
  • Experience with complex business meetings, product launches, experiential events, and premium studio broadcasts.
  • Understanding of the distinct boundaries between show/content production and standard event management (EM) logistics.
  • Good/advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and event management platforms (e.g. Momentus).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon for corporate clients.
  • Creative problem solver, resourceful, and a dedicated team player.
  • Calm and flexible approach to handling the pressure, stress, and ever-changing demands of executing a live show.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ambitious and proactive.
  • Administrative and General:
  • Assume responsibility for own environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety policies while having clean smart surroundings
  • Work intelligently and ensure that team management is aware of problems or issues which negatively affect productivity
  • Build excellent relations with the team, clients, vendors, and key venues through positive communications
