Overview

Do you have strong operational and facilities management experience in a public-facing environment? Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can make a meaningful impact during a key transition period?

This fixed-term contract offers the opportunity to lead operations for an established shopping centre that is planned to be redeveloped into residential use. You'll play a vital role in keeping the centre running safely and efficiently during its remaining operational period. If you enjoy variety, problem-solving, and working with diverse teams, this could be the ideal next step.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee daily operations to keep the centre safe, clean, and running smoothly.
• Manage contractors across hard and soft services, ensuring standards and records are maintained.
• Maintain plant, machinery, and key systems, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
• Lead on Health & Safety compliance, including fire safety, incident reporting, and insurance requirements.
• Report on ESG, waste and energy performance, and ISO 14001 activity.
• Manage purchase orders, approve invoices, and support budget control.
• Liaise with tenants to ensure compliance and provide operational support.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities and external partners.
• Work closely with the centre management team to uphold standards through the redevelopment phase.
