Job summary

Winsearch is recruiting a Production Supervisor / Manager for a UK-based aerospace manufacturing operation in the North West. This hands-on leadership role requires visible shopfloor presence, solving production issues and driving performance to meet targets.

The role emphasizes safety, 5S standards and team development, with strong emphasis on engineering drawings, aerospace specs and MRP-driven planning. Competitive salary and semi-annual bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Production Supervisor / Manager role within manufacturing.
• Ideally time-served in sheet metal or fabrication.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and aerospace specifications.
• Experience across processes such as CNC punching/routing, forming, heat treatment and inspection.
• Good working knowledge of MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Leading day-to-day production across a sheet metal / fabrication environment.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with established 5S standards.
• Driving performance against production targets, quality and delivery.
• Supporting problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Managing and developing shopfloor teams, ensuring strong communication and engagement.
• Working with MRP systems to support production planning and efficiency.
• Acting as the key point of contact for production-related issues.
