Job summary

Wenzel’s The Bakers is seeking a Shop Manager to lead a busy store in Northolt. You will be the spine and structure of the operation, driving sales and customer service while overseeing daily tasks.

With a minimum of 2 years food-to-go/retail experience, you will motivate and train your team, recruit locally, and ensure smooth running across a 42-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control your own shop.
• Train and develop team members to a high level in your store and local stores when needed.
• Recruitment - Interviewing and hiring for your own store and local stores in your division when needed.
• Be the point of contact for local shops when their shop manager is on holiday.
• Food production quality.
• Exceeding shop performance and KPI's - This will include sales, wastage %, Wage ratio, staff retention and average spend.
• Ensure the store is clean, organised and welcoming for customers.
• Monitoring Food safety standards. Ensuring high standards of customer service.

Pay & Hours:

We offer a competitive pay of £28,000 to £33,000 depending on experience and a working week is 42 hours over 5 days a week, Monday to Sunday.

About You:

As a Senior Shop Manager for Wenzel's, you will be the spine and structure of your store, will be somebody who has a minimum of 2 years food to go/retail experience, able to motivate and lead a team and be an excellent communicator.

• You will be the one to ensure smooth running of the store to maximize sales and minimize costs whilst reaching your KPI targets.
