Overview

Shop Manager - Full Time. Location: Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire. Permanent full-time position with a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week. Hours: 45 per week. Please note that for full-time positions you will need to be fully flexible in your availability, including weekends.

Pay and Benefits
  • Salary: £32,944 - £38,355 per annum on a 45 hour contract
  • Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more

Role and Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and participate in day-to-day tasks involved in running a busy shop
  • Motivate and inspire the team to provide efficient service and great customer experience
  • Recruitment, induction and ongoing development of the team through coaching, mentoring and feedback; develop a talent pipeline
  • Be fully accountable for the shop; ensure customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines ensure a safe, clean and tidy environment
  • Control key shop costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll; report KPIs to area manager
  • Meet standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation
