Salary: £13.50 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Shifts: MONDAY TO FRIDAY 4:30AM TO 1:30PM

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Shop Floor Coordinator to join our dynamic team based on site. Our client - the meat processing factory is committed to delivering high-quality products to their customers. They pride themselves on maintaining the highest standards of food safety, efficiency, and teamwork in their operations.

Role Overview

As the Shop Floor Coordinator, we want you to be out there becoming the known name and face for both client and candidates. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on the production floor. Your primary focus will be ensuring that Prestige is providing the high standards for all candidates who are introduce to site. You will work closely with supervisors, operators, and other departments to streamline processes and resolve any operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily attendance check ensuring smooth operations on the shop floor.
• Monitor staff performance, providing support and guidance to meet production goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Assist in workforce planning, including shift allocation and task assignment.
• Report any issues, breakdowns, or delays to the management team promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with training department to deliver site procedures to agency staff
• Provide translation to full time and agency staff during induction and training session

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a supervisory or coordination role in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in meat processing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a food processing environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts.
• Romanian language is advantage
