Optomen is seeking an experienced Shooting Researcher to join a returning reality series. You will shoot actuality, assist on location, research story information and help with editorial tasks, with a keen eye for detail when managing footage and shoot information.

Previous reality experience and self-shooting credits are essential, and you will be working with contributors in a fast-paced environment across the main contract from 19 October to 27 November 2026, with occasional ad hoc pickup

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Shooting Researcher to join the team on a returning reality series. The role will involve shooting actuality, assisting on location, researching story information and helping with general editorial tasks. You'll need to be confident with kit and technically minded, with good attention to detail when managing footage and shoot information. You'll also be working with contributors, so you'll need to be confident and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Previous reality experience and self-shooting credits are essential.

Main contract: 19 October to 27 November 2026
