Shipping Market Pricing Analyst – London

Must be able to Relocate / Travel

Our client, specialised in Container shipping are looking to develop a new Market Pricing Analyst into their London offices to help co-ordinate and manage the Europe Export vessel space managment in line with Trade Policies and objectives through day to day activities. Shipping experience for the role is essential.

The suitable candidate will be looking to develop their career in several countries and willing to relocate and rotate over the next several years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acting as the focal point for designated regions whilst demonstrating awareness of the regional commodities and markets for operational infastructure.
  • Dealing with trades and performing structural review on regions performances.
  • Responding to rate requests, whilst analysing and judging business contribution in relation to market conditions.
  • Completing tender submissions and regular KPI reports whilst supporting the European Space management processes when and as required.
  • Representing the marketing team at internal and external meetings.
  • Preparing of daily reports and co-ordinating the implementation of country-wise customer allocation process and performance.
  • Responsible for business plans and assisting to set targets for areas of direct pricing responsibility.
