Location: Coventry, Ansty Park

Salary: up to 31,600 plus benefits

Hours: Mon - Thurs: 08:00 - 16:30, Fri: 08:00 - 15:30

The Role

Are you highly organised with a keen eye for detail?

Do you enjoy working in a busy, structured environment where accuracy and teamwork make the difference? We’re looking for a Shipping & Logistics Controller to join our Import and Export team, supporting the movement of goods for our Aerospace customers.

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring all shipments are processed correctly, documented accurately, and fully compliant with export control procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and checking import/export documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintaining precise records, data entry, and email correspondence with internal teams and customers.
  • Managing daily shipping activities, including labelling, packing documentation, and dispatch tracking.
  • Clearly report progress on all activities to the business on request or in alignment with the import/export process.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a smooth workflow and provide consistent support across the department.
  • Attain Dangerous Goods Training qualification if handling customer deliveries - Training provided
Skills required
  • Previous experience in an administrative, shipping, or logistics role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  • Strong administration and PC skills, including confidence using MS Office and ERP Systems (SAP, GTS, or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and professionally.
  • Experience with UPS, FedEx, or Carriers’ systems is an advantage.
