Shipping Coordinator - Wakefield

The Role

Reporting to the Shipping & Credit Control Manager, you'll coordinate import shipments to ensure timely delivery, accurate documentation, and efficient processes. You'll also support sales forecasting, customer debit note resolution, and supplier/freight payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and tracking import shipments, liaising with overseas offices, agents, and factories
  • Preparing shipping invoices and ensuring container loadings meet company targets
  • Negotiating airfreight quotes and processing supplier/freight payments
  • Monitoring sales forecasts, analysing variances, and supporting board reporting
  • Managing customer debit notes and resolving queries promptly
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases for shipments, suppliers, and sales
What You'll Bring
