Shipping Clerk - Temporary Ongoing Assignment

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Shipping Clerk to join a leading food production company based in Canning Town. This is a Temporary Ongoing Position with a chance to work within a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

About the Role

Shift Pattern: 12‑hour shifts, rotating between days and nights. Training will be conducted during the first few weeks, which will be on day shifts.

Hourly Rate: £19.89 per hour

Location: Canning Town

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately complete distribution documentation for loading and delivery, maintaining in‑house business systems.
  • Collaborate with third‑party transport providers and internal teams to prioritize bulk loading operations and achieve OTIFT (On Time in Full) targets.
  • Ensure Certificates of Analysis and all necessary documentation are correctly completed for all outgoing loads.
  • Conduct and record Quality & Environmental checks within the Bulk Loading area.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and systems of work, including Permit to Work (HWP, CSP) and TBRA procedures.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a distribution, logistics, or warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (intermediate level).
  • Experience using logistics IT systems such as SAP, Transworks, or Truckscale.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with data entry.
