Hours ~ Tues – Sat 9:30 – 18:00 but must be flexible and work occasional evenings

Pay Rate ~ £15.00

Job Description – Warehouse Supervisor (Chilled Environment)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a chilled warehouse environment.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and effectively manage a team.

• Solid understanding of people management practices.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

• Flexibility to adapt and perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all agency warehouse operations during the day or night shift.

• Foster effective collaboration between Pertemps staff and client teams.

• Ensure all agency staff consistently wear the correct Health & Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Lead and support warehouse staff to maintainhigh levels of productivity and performance.

• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

• Organise and conduct monthly staff engagement sessions (‘surgeries’) to address issues, gather feedback, and provide support.

• Coordinate and assist with recruitment and induction days as required.
