Job summary

Mitchells & Butler s PLC is seeking a Shift Supervisor for Ember Inns. You will welcome guests, lead a team, and ensure smooth service with a focus on training and development. The role emphasizes great service and a friendly, efficient pub environment.

You’ll work to maintain cleanliness and safety standards while delivering a warm, welcoming experience that keeps guests returning for more.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or similar customer-facing role is preferred.
• Strong communication and team leadership abilities.
• Ability to train and develop staff while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the day-to-day running of the site, hosting guests and leading the team.
• Act as a shift leader and role model for ability to train others.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety across the venue.
• Contribute to a welcoming, efficient guest experience at Ember Inns.
