This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for a skilled engineer ready to take the next step in their career, ensuring smooth operations and high standards across building services.

Key Responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor

• Supervise and support a team of shift engineers across building services disciplines.
• Ensure timely completion of planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and operate systems including BMS, HVAC, UPS, and emergency lighting.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers to maintain compliance and safety.
• Maintain accurate records, shift handovers, and incident reports.
• Ensure high standards of housekeeping and operational readiness in plant areas.

Ideal Profile of the Shift Supervisor

• 5+ years' experience in building services or facilities engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems.
• C&G Parts 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent, plus 18th Edition.
• IOSH accreditation or equivalent health and safety training.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Experience in critical or high-profile environments preferred.
